What I want.

I asked myself this question these past days, I am confused on what to prioritized in my mind. "What do I want?"
I grab my notepad, started to wrote down and what can you see on the picture was indeed what l want now.

After I wrote down these, I realized that there are some problems with these goals.
"Money, Time, Focus, Discipline and Patience." will occur in the future.

I asked myself again looking to this noted pad and answered, "I want a change in my life, explore myself more, love myself and learned new about myself." I know I cannot do this without the support of the people who truly loves me and Him of course.

I hate to admit despise these goals that I want, it will took a lot of my energy at rest but hopefully, the Me planting a new "Tree" will bear a "Fruit" someday.

Till next time~

Where am I going NOW?

The title for my next post is really a big question inside my head right now?

This will take your time because am going to share with you what is my turning point in life.

It happened 8 years ago, 4th year High school. For us students back then we deciding what course to take in college, what school to attend and what job we are going to land off when we graduated. Among those students am also included I was confused whether am going to take up Engineering or HRM, my Mom said I should took Nursing because am  big girl but I dislike the idea that am going to served different people with sickness and will have a lower salary for my efforts. Am not going to be rich in that field.

I really wanted to be an engineer that time because I wanted to finished what my sister did not finished when she was in college and I liked the sound that "I will be the boss of all engineers in the future and so."  An inspiring words from my teacher helped me to set my mind. "If you are have a problem in Math subjects but want to be engineer someday, then proved it that you want to be an engineer."

And with that  words of wisdom I came to plan my life where will be am going 12 years from that time.
In 5 years I will finish my college degree (22yrs old), work, be licensed (23), finish masteral degree (24-26yrs old), study and learned different skills (27-30yrs. old)

Going back now, I am a licensed engineer and now am planning to take am either Land Management Appraiser or stick to my original plan to have my Masteral Degree in Industrial Engineer but  with my current work right now, where I will be part of technical team in disposing assets of the government (land owned by the government) I will be shifting in my plans but will it help me grow in my career aspects.

Currently, am looking for colleges  offering courses for Land Management and training/ seminars related to Land Management. Still I want to pursue my Industrial Engineering path like taking 6 sigma courses and masteral degree where I know  it will be useful in the future. I can have both but I know I cannot handle them both right now.

I will have to wait and decide what will I choose for myself without consulting for others opinion but praying to Him. :)

Savings

Having a long vacation is nice, summer get away, beaches, Bisita Iglesia to different churches, reunion with family are common in Filipino tradition.

In our family case, what we do is general clean up of the house. When the job for the day is done we got to relax ourselves and enjoy the vacation.

In my case, I did a little project.

I made two saving banks, aside from my savings in the bank these babies will be having some funds from my weekly allowance, if I saved from my daily expense is 50php it will be divided by 2.

Slowly, and surely am saving some money from my goals than save a lot in one goal then shift to other goal. Am planning to add more jars for my other plans.

Hope this works! 😉
I will follow up on these on going project!

In the beginning...

My herb gardening started when I was in-charge for cooking the "LAMB" last New Year celebration, while am doing my research how to cook the "LAMB" in the internet (via Youtube.com); the LAMB is easy to cook, marinated it with salt and pepper some rosemary for the LAMB to have a flavor leave it inside the oven for several hours.... VIOLA! You have a roast LAMB.

I watched tons of videos how to roast the lamb then I watched this particular video where the chef got his herbs from his backyard. FRESH HERBS from his backyard, then "I want to have my own herb garden." My interest moved from cooking the shitty LAMB to having a herb garden. I searched where I could buy some herbs, Tagaytay was the only the place that is near at my home. Disappointed due to we don't own a car and commuting to Tagaytay is expensive I began to lose hope.

I talked my budding hobby with Dindin for several times while on Holiday vacation, she mentioned that every year her Mom goes to Tagaytay to buy some cheap meat at Mahogany Market where they sells some plants too. Determined, I tag along with them it was 2 January and I got to hang out with Dindin and her mother. We arrived at Tagaytay around 4:00PM due to heavy traffic going to Tagaytay.

Flocks of plants sparkling in my very own eyes, I wanted to roam around for a while before buying but Tita encouraged me to buy some of the vendor plants, I swept away from the vendor enthusiasms and brought Sweet Basil (35php), Rosemary (75php), Flat Parsley (35php), Thyme (35php) and Spearmint (50php). When I was done paying I strolled along with Dindin inside the market and she bought some of her cactus and I bought another plant called "everyday plant" which is dead by now.

Due to Dindin's generosity she gave me some of her excess soil, the next day I planted my herbs according to its common thing. Rosemary and Thyme are herbs that can water every once a week, Parsely and Sweet Basil needs twice a week and lastly Spear Mint does need alot of water than the four herbs I mentioned.

I placed the plants at the balcony of our house and am really happy that I achieved my mini-project and having my very own herb garden at home.

My thing for my herb garden did not end to this, I want to have a vertical herb garden I planned to buy some woods and make my own plant box but my plan didn't came true as expected due to I have to save some money. After some weeks, my family did our weekly grocery at Shopwise I got mixed emotions when I saw a bunch of herbs inside the grocery store namely Sage, Mint, Curled Parsley and Basil they sell each pot for 85php. Not bad.
Festival Mall - Shopwise Herbs

Last week, when Mom and I did the usual weekly routine, she dragged me along to buy some plants for my sister. I was not interested at first due to I know, its not very common for a plant store inside the mall to sell herbs and I was WRONG, they do sell some. Mint, Basil, Rosemary, Tarragon; Mom bought some Jade to my sister I bought some Basil, Rosemary and Tarragon. I planned to repot my new herbs and my current herbs this last Holiday, I bought new pots, new soil, some gravel for the herbs.

Inspired with the labels I saw at Shopwise I made mine too in the office. I didn't noticed that I made a misspelled in Parsley.
 :(

Yesterday, this was my finished repot of my herbs, and I placed them again inside our garden area besides my bedroom. :) Am happy with my herbs and want to add more. :)
